LECTURE

This was the first week of class. Mr. Fauzi briefed the class on the module and gave us an introduction to Digital Photography and Imaging. We were taught about the important factors of Photoshop and given tips on what makes a successful graphic designer.


TUTORIAL

We were introduced to Google Classroom as our main mode of communication. We were given an introduction to collage alongside a video demonstration and past students' collage works.

PRACTICAL

We were assigned to complete the following tasks:

  • Create E-Portfolio blog

  • Create a Pinterest board labeled 'DPI'

  • Find three graphic design works and explain why we like them.


DESIGN 1:

 Minimalist approach in design that I really like the most. Either bold colors or color blocks in general with a mix of monochrome is the most minimalist and interesting design that I like. This particular design that i chose reminds me of vintage film designs or pictures.

DESIGN 2:

It shows the simplicity and clean illustrative design as a poster. It has a simple design and information for people to look at. The colors that is used in this design is so simple and eye catching for me.

DESIGN 3:

The composition of the design caught my attention. The black and white with a contrast of 2 bright colors really made it more interesting for the attention of the eye.
